MULTI-COMPONENT CHAIN ASSEMBLY
Chain systems developed around link geometry, component configuration, and drape.
Developed for seasonal and runway collections requiring hand-assembled chain straps with controlled drape, weight, and finish consistency.
Each assembly is constructed link by link. Chain type, link scale, component integration, overall length, and plating direction are developed to specification for each project.
CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS
CHAIN TYPES
- Rolo / Belcher — uniform circular or oval links; classic geometry with consistent drape
- Cable / Trace — fine alternating links; lightweight strap applications
- Figaro — alternating link rhythm; structured visual pattern
- Curb / Gourmette — flattened, interlocked links; heavier hand and defined surface reflection
- Mixed-Component — chain combined with connector bars, jump rings, lobster clasps, D-rings, or hardware stations to achieve designed spacing, rhythm, and function
LINK SCALE
- Fine — 2–4 mm link width; minimal, graphic strap direction
- Medium — 5–8 mm link width; balanced weight and drape
- Statement — 9–14 mm link width; architectural, collection-defining proportion
- Mixed Scale — multiple link scales within a single strap assembly
COMPONENT INTEGRATION
- Connector Bars & Plates — for spacing control and graphic rhythm
- Jump Rings & Split Rings — for articulation and movement
- Lobster Clasps & Trigger Hooks — functional closures developed to finish specification
- D-Rings, O-Rings & Rectangular Rings — attachment hardware matched to chain finish
- End Caps & Chain Tips — clean termination of strap ends
MATERIAL BASE
- Zinc Alloy — suited to complex geometry and efficient production at volume
- Brass — recommended where plating quality, surface character, and long-term durability are priorities
FINISH DIRECTION
14K NF GOLD
Champagne-neutral gold. Colour developed and controlled under D65 illumination. ΔE < 1.8 from the approved master. Nickel-free system.
RHODIUM NF
Bright silver with a clean, uniform appearance. Nickel-free system.
ANTIQUE BRASS NF
Controlled tonal depth for vintage, artisanal, or heritage-driven collection directions.
BESPOKE
Developed against an existing hardware reference, physical sample, or Pantone colour standard. Final colour tolerance is established during sample approval.
QUALITY PARAMETERS
COLOUR CONSISTENCY
ΔE < 1.8 under D65 standard illumination.* Controlled against the client-approved master sample for the specified finish; inspection records retained for each production batch.
ASSEMBLY INTEGRITY
Connections and assembly points are inspected by hand for consistent closure, tension, articulation, and finish continuity across the full strap length.
COMPONENT MATCHING
All hardware components are developed and plated to the same finish specification as the chain body.
Constructed link by link. Where standard automated chains lack controlled drape and component rhythm, our hand-assembled system balances tension, articulated movement, and finish continuity across every station.
*Final tolerances are established against the approved off-tooling master sample. Custom finishes or surface directions may require separate tolerance agreements.
DEVELOPMENT PATH
Every project follows a defined development sequence — from design intent to production standard.
01 — DESIGN BRIEF
Chain type, link scale, component configuration, strap length, and finish reference.
02 — REFERENCE REVIEW
Existing hardware, sketch, CAD, physical sample, or visual reference.
03 — MATERIAL DIRECTION
Base metal, component sourcing, plating system, and surface direction confirmed.
04 — SAMPLE DEVELOPMENT
Hand-assembled prototype developed for design, proportion, function, and drape approval.
05 — MOLD & FINISH DEVELOPMENT
Tooling refinement and finish iteration for all components.
06 — OFF-TOOLING SAMPLE
Production-intent sample prepared for final approval.
07 — PRODUCTION STANDARD
Approved master retained as the reference for colour, surface, construction, and assembly sequence.
08 — PRODUCTION & INSPECTION
Small-batch and collection production runs inspected link-by-link against the approved off-tooling master standard before release.
PROJECT PARAMETERS
Pricing is developed per project based on chain type, link scale, component count, assembly complexity, plating system, and annual volume.
MOQ and lead times are confirmed at brief stage.
